Are you eager to go out of your COMFORT ZONE?

Having a blog will require you to go out of your comfort zone often, if not regularly.

Maybe you’re an introvert, and creating a blog voicing your opinion or showing up your face online might make you uncomfortable.

Maybe you are good at writing, but your audience might ask you to share some advice in video format.

Maybe you’re not so eager to face negative feedback online. If you “go public,” you’ll encounter this problem.

Maybe you don’t like thinking about new things too much. Or maybe thinking out of the box too much.

Blogging will require you to be comfortable out of the comfort zone. Or at least, learn as you go. A blog is always in progress, it’s never perfect, and it evolves just as a human does. Are you prepared to be on a constant change flow?

Nothing happens inside your comfort zone.

Comfort zones are stable, BUT they’re also boring. So much so that you can stall easily.

Don’t freak out because going out of your comfort zone doesn’t mean that you have to do scary things all the time.

You’re discovering a whole new and incredible world.

Think it this way: when you fell in love for the first time, and you decided to kiss your loved one, you went out of the comfort zone.

Was it spooky?

No! Instead, it was amazing!

The same happens with blogging. There’re many things that people have told you that it is challenging. For example: setting up your WordPress alone. But, here me out! You’re not alone. If you decide that going out of your comfort zone a little bit, I’m going to help you all the way to set it up.

Maybe they’ve told you that SEO is like trying to decipher hieroglyphs, but it’s not as difficult.

Many times things look complicated, but they’re not. They look frightening, but they’re not. You simply need to allow yourself to be a little bit uncomfortable with them at the beginning.

Going out of your comfort zone doesn’t mean that you’ll be out there forever

Another misconception when people tell you to go out of your comfort zone is the notion that you’ll spend the rest of your life in the unknown. However, the reality is entirely different.

We can certainly put a foot out of our comfort zone, but then we can go back to it. In fact, this is the healthy way to go. Soon, you’ll realize that your comfort zone is expanding. First, you’ll step once out of the comfort zone, then return. And then you’ll notice that in a natural way you’ve taken not one step out of it, but two, or even five!

Your comfort zone will forever expand if you allow it to grow.

And if it does, you’ll grow as well.

Are you up to expand your comfort zone?
